Eleanor by Jason Gurley

Hey guys! I realized I never posted this review, so here’s a quick review of Eleanor by Jason Gurley!

I actually loved this book! I was a little hesitant going in because based on the plot, this book is very different than the books I normally read. However, Eleanor and her story really pulled me in from the beginning. I thought that this book was unlike any other book I’ve read before, and it was very unique in it’s plot and the way Eleanor dealt with the cards she had been handed. This book is very emotional (as you can tell from the summary), but the writing was even better in that there were many layers in the book that made the book even better as a whole. For that, I applaud the author, which I recently learned spent a lot of time writing and developing this story before it’s final publication (more than 10 years). I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll just say that I got wrapped up in the story as Eleanor dealt with her pain and her family issues as she had the extra weight of her abilities with traveling to different realities I guess. I think that this book is very good not only because of the emotions, but also because of the bursts of action, as well as plot twists that kept me turing the page to find out how the story would come to a close. Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and I would recommend it if this is the type of story you’re looking for.

Also, the cover is beautiful and I love it every time I look at it.

So that’s my quick little review! Hope you enjoyed it!
